The New York Giants are meeting 1-on-1 with Penn State edge defender Abdul Carter after Friday’s Penn State Pro Day. They will be the only team to do so on Friday.
Carter, considered by many the top prospect in the draft, will not work out Friday at the Penn State Pro Day. He is rehabbing a shoulder injury suffered during the College Football Playoff.
The Giants have pick No. 3 in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Penn State DE/LB Abdul Carter will meet with the Giants privately in State College today, after the Nittany Lions’ Pro Day workout. Carter isn’t working out, as he continues to rehab his shoulder. Carter had dinner with the Browns brass last night. NY is his only meeting today.

Carter also has a visit to East Rutherford, N.J. scheduled.
Abdul Carter has 30 visits set up in the coming weeks with the Giants and Patriots, per sources. He’s already made the trips to do 30 visits with the Titans and Browns. Confident he’ll go Top 4, I’m told those are the ONLY four teams that the Penn State star plans to visit. https://t.co/EGNgNcYrIm

Carter also was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right foot at the NFL Scouting Combine. He decided against surgery, and the Giants and other teams at the top of the draft would certainly have like to see Carter on the field on Friday.
Will this impact his draft stock, or the Giants’ potential interest? We will find out in a few weeks.
